The advantage of sealing to the Sealing Authority over sealing to the Enclave Identity is that it allows offline migration of sealed data between enclave versions. The Sealing Authority may sign multiple enclaves and enable them to retrieve the same seal key. These enclaves can transparently access data that was sealed by the other.
